Good afternoon everyone! Today in Kestrel class we have been exploring seasonal food. This included tasting seasonal fruit and vegetables, researching seasonality and creating posters about this.

This week we have been finishing off our post-swimming catch-up in Kestrel class. As part of this, in D.T. we have been designing blankets for a specific user. Here are some pictures of our designs so far. More pictures to come over the coming term of us finishing our designs and making them using sewing skills:
Hi Year 6!
For your homework this week can you continue with our learning about writing for a purpose. Sketch any setting and then describe it in detail. This could be to scare, to excite or any other emotion you fancy!
For our spellings this week we are looking at words from the Year 5 & 6 spelling list that contain double consonants. The first word is the same as last week:
accommodate
accompany
according
aggressive
apparent
appreciate
attached
committee
community
correspond
