Visual Representation of Music

Lat week, the children in Eagle class were listening to music and then writing down what they heard in a visual representation. They listened to various types of music over the ages and came up with some beautiful artwork based on these. Some of them were quite abstract but really captured the music that they were listening to and the emotional feelings that they evoked.

For your homework this week can you continue with our learning about writing for a purpose. Sketch any setting and then describe it in detail. This could be to scare, to excite or any other emotion you fancy!

For our spellings this week we are looking at words from the Year 5 & 6 spelling list that contain double consonants. The first word is the same as last week:
